All students from grades 8 to 12 who have filled up the registration form are eligible to take part in Scottish Moot Court.
No prior legal experience is required. Scottish Moot Court is designed to be accessible to all skill levels, from first-time speakers to seasoned debaters.
Based on your allocations, study guides will be sent across in order to help you get well-acquainted with the case you have been assigned to. There will also be an orientation held prior to the event, briefing all registered participants.
Yes, titles of recognition will be given to delegates that stand out during the proceedings of the cases.
Taking part in Moot Court will not only help participants grasp law fundamentals, but it will also enable sharp oratory skills as well as analytical and critical thinking. Aside from this, it will provide academic and future career advantages, also building one's profile.
